A rare vintage IKEA Prolog floor lamp, designed in the 1990s by Swedish designer Tord Björklund. The model is also known by the type numbers Balalajka (G9405) or B9002. A sought-after postmodern design object, the lamp is characterized by: a striking, curved arm made of clear-lacquered beech wood; a slender, chrome-plated metal tension rod; an adjustable, cone-shaped metal lampshade; and a round metal base housing the transformer for the halogen lighting. This lamp is designed for a European 230-volt electrical grid. The electrical grid in your country may operate at a different voltage. Since this lamp is equipped with a transformer suitable for a 230-volt network, please note that modifications may be required to make the lamp compatible with your local electrical system. If your mains voltage differs from 230 volts, this transformer requires a voltage converter. There is a risk of fire if the lamp is not used in its original condition.
