Vintage 1920s triptych barber mirror, gold with flowers, new and affordable - 28 x 60.

Antique triptych mirror for barber hairdresser in gilded brass with floral patterns circa 1920 in new condition. A model still in its box from Le Bon Marché with its original label. Already very rare in gold colour, it has never been used and showcases one of the finest designs for barber mirrors. The mirrors are like new, the back in white crocodile imitation is clean, the outer panels are stunning, with the stems and leaves of the flowers subtly visible as a filigree in the reflection of the gold leaf on the left panel. The design is clearly from the early 20th century, with robust pin hinges that evoke the industry of the time. The clasp bears the engraving "FRANCE", and the feet and chain are still in place, allowing it to be hung or placed. Each panel measures 24×18cm (28×18cm including feet) and the entire unfolded piece measures 24×60cm (28×60cm with feet).
