Vintage 1920s triptych barber mirror in gold with green crocodile effect - 37 x 87.

Antique triptych mirror from a barber's shop in gilded brass and green faux crocodile leather, circa 1920, in good condition. A very rare model in gold colour, it may have been gilded with gold leaf judging by the brilliance of the mirror. The glass is quite marked; the centre piece has a flaw in the top left corner, but although visible, the flaw is on the inside. The back in faux crocodile is clean, although it is quite marked on the central panel. The style is clearly from the early 20th century, with robust hinges. The clasp, feet, and chain are still in place, allowing it to be hung or placed. Each panel measures 34×28cm (37×28cm including feet) and the entire unfolded piece measures 34×87cm (37×87cm with feet).
