Eames PACC armchair on casters Herman Miller by Vitra 1970

Office chair on casters, adjustable in height. Designed by Charles & Ray Eames. The PAC swivel chair (Pivoting (P) Arm (A) Chair on Cast (C) Base) and the PACC variant (C added for 'on castors', on casters) were added to the Herman Miller catalog in 1953. The chair for sale is a European production, Vitra edition, still under license from Herman Miller. It probably dates from the 1960s. The shell is upholstered in red Hopsack fabric. the foam and fabric are in very good condition, no peeling, but a stain on the seat. The fiberglass hull is off-white in color and is in good condition. The casters roll freely, the aluminum base is patinated.
