Anthropomorphic ceramic Adnan Korukcu (Signed)

Artist: Adnan Korukcu (Recognised Turkish Ceramist) Period: 1990s - 2000s. This stoneware collectible piece is an original anthropomorphic work hand-shaped. It features a face with very expressive incised features, emblematic of the artist's style. The exterior blue-violet glaze is remarkable for its crystallisation effects. The interior has a clear glaze with a rippled appearance (fine natural cracks in the glaze). Condition details: Exterior: Overall nice appearance. There is a small original firing shrinkage crack on the rim (due to the clay work in the kiln, it is not a chip). Interior: Presence of a visible internal hairline crack upon examination. The piece remains solid and retains all its decorative value. Unique stoneware piece shaped by a master of expressionism, Engraved signature "Adnan K" under the base. Height 11 cm.
