Brown orange and white DF-2000 TV stand credenza from Raymond Loewy

The restoration team spared no effort on this authentic Raymond Loewy media cabinet credenza, resulting in a piece that exceeded expectations. The wood doors and side panels have been repainted to match the original dark mocha colour, while the back panel remains original due to its excellent condition. The unit is fully finished on the back and looks attractive from every angle. The orange, injection-moulded plastic drawer fronts have been buffed and polished to a glassy shine. The cabinet sits on a brand new plinth base, fabricated from solid pine and painted black to match the original. The painted white top is now covered with a sheet of white laminate for increased durability and practicality, making it ideal for TV and stereo components. Dimensions: width 131 cm, depth 47 cm, height 50 cm. The cabinet features two hinged doors with an adjustable/removable shelf and ample room for 12" LP records. All three drawers retain their original 'DF-2000' sticker tags. This piece showcases the futuristic use of colour and materials characteristic of the 1970s, with bright orange acrylic capturing the playful spirit of the era. The cabinet is versatile and functional, suitable for nearly any room.
