Elegant pair of rectangular white plastic butter dishes with stainless steel inserts, designed in 1970 by the famous industrial designer Raymond Loewy for Air France. Stamped under the base: AIR FRANCE – DESIGN CEI RAYMOND LOEWY PARIS – Code AF:02 1670, these pieces were used on board first class and illustrate the golden age of airline design. Their minimalist and functional aesthetic typical of Loewy is still relevant today, with soft lines, a matte surface and a removable stainless steel interior. In very good overall condition, with light micro-scratches of use on the interior without noticeable alteration of the exterior plastic. Compact size: approximately 8 cm long. Iconic objects of 1970s design, perfect for collectors of airline objects, lovers of vintage design or for a chic retro table.
