This seat is distinguished by its elegant violin-shaped backrest, curved armrests, and soft lines characteristic of the Louis-Philippe style. The quality of the woodwork is particularly remarkable, with beautiful continuous curves connecting the front legs to the armrest consoles. The mahogany structure features a warm original patina with blonde and amber tones. The armchair rests on four curved legs, with the front legs fitted with period casters for easy movement. Traditional upholstery on straps and horsehair. The old covering in damask fabric with a tone-on-tone cream floral pattern is still presentable but can be replaced according to the tastes of its future owner.
