Exceptional low cabinet model "Présidentiel", designed by Jules Leleu in 1955. A remarkable piece of French furniture from the 1950s, characteristic of Jules Leleu's work, with an architecturally structured silhouette and a remarkable richness of details. The façade features two doors entirely dressed in geometric diamond marquetry, forming a particularly sophisticated and luminous pattern. The doors are framed by two vertical fluted columns, resting on delicate turned feet in a tulip shape, with very beautiful finishing details. The interior reveals a particularly well-thought-out design, with several shelves and a beautiful quality of execution. The inner face of one door also features a small plaque/handwritten signature, a particularly interesting element for identifying the piece. The furniture is made from a light wood, with warm blonde tones, whose variations in hue testify to its history and age. A piece of character, both decorative and functional, that will naturally find its place in a collector's interior, a private residence, or a high-end decoration project. Jules Leleu – Présidentiel model – 1955. An antique piece showing traces and variations related to its age and history. Very good overall condition consistent with its antiquity.
