12: 011. Description. The original design of the Mexico table dates back to 1938 and is part of the "free forms" movement. The final design was developed in 1952 by Charlotte Perriand for the student rooms of the Maison du Mexique at the Cité Universitaire Internationale de Paris. In 1952, the wooden legs were replaced by curved metal legs with a triangular section. In 1956, the Mexico table was launched by the famous designer Steph Simons. It was reissued by Cassina in 2015 under its original brand. The table features a characteristic triangular design, with a slightly curved edge, black painted metal legs, and is made from a single slab of solid walnut 2 cm thick. The table is in good condition, with slight wear on the top.
