Brutalist stone copper brass design coffee table by Paul Kingma, 70s 80s

Brutalist style, modular system coffee table designed by Dutch artist Paul Kingma in the 1970s. The artist used a variety of materials he had collected throughout his life and travels, such as coins and various pieces of metal and bronze, which are incorporated into natural stone mosaics including slate. The table rests on a rectangular slate base. The table top is adjustable in height from 49 cm to 66 cm (see photos). Rare table model, signed “Design Kingma” (see photo) and in very good condition.
