Superb lamp in pure modernist style from around 1970. Art Deco-inspired model, in the spirit of Jean Perzel's productions, made in France by S.C.E (Société Centrale d'Eclairage) and distributed by Habitat under the name "New-York Lamp". For the brand's 50th anniversary in 2014, it was selected among the 50 iconic and cult objects in the history of the brand. The polished chrome metal base supports an inverted dome diffuser made of milky white glass. The lamp measures 53 cm in height, with a base height of 38 cm. The base diameter is 21 cm, and the dome diameter is 27.5 cm. The cord is 150 cm long. In excellent condition (with 2 small chrome spots under the globe, invisible when the lamp is placed), ultra high quality (nearly 5 kg), this very beautiful, highly designed lamp will become a remarkable piece in your interior, providing a soft and warm light.
