Very beautiful painting, marine, landscape of cliffs, oil on old wood, signed Ruben at the bottom left - Paul RUBEN (1882-1955) - framed in a very beautiful wide light raw wood frame with grooves, chic. Magnificent colours enhanced with turquoise, very bright painting. Panel alone 46x33cm landscape format, with frame 55x43cm total, thickness 4cm. Very good overall condition, however, the painting shows fine cracks in the oil across the entire surface due to the wood's movement, particularly some small stains at the top left, visible wood in certain areas, wear or original, a very discreet small hole at the top centre probably from an old attachment, frame very clean with slight wood work in the corners, large hook attachment at the back. Harmonious ensemble. It could be one of the artist's earliest works, as the P in the signature is not present, possibly from the 1920s-1930s. Approximately 1, 500-2kg.
