A mid-century modern style vase, made in Poland in the 1970s, crafted from glass in a saturated, transparent shade of green with a cool turquoise hue. The bulbous, rounded body gently tapers towards a short, cylindrical neck. Two symmetrical, transparent handles in the form of glass loops encircle the neck, adding a spatial accent and contrasting with the colourful body. The base is transparent and slightly raised, which stabilises the form and visually lifts it. The glass surface is smooth, polished to a high gloss, with no visible scratches, chips or signs of use. The condition is very good – no damage or signs of wear. This vase tells the story of Polish glass modernism of the 1970s, when utilitarian glass became bold in colour and form.
