Vintage ceramic vase from West Germany, 1970s. Manufactured by VEB Haldensleben. A very beautiful piece with a graphic relief decoration made up of ivory glazed dots on a chocolate brown background and cobalt blue splashes. A typical aesthetic of the Fat Lava movement and West German productions from the 1960s–70s. Its architectural shape and deep texture give it a sculptural presence that is very decorative, even without flowers. Superb enamel work, rich in nuances and material. Marking under base: 3058 A. In very good vintage condition. Dimensions: L 8.5 X W 9.5 cm. Height: 21 cm. An ideal piece for a modernist, brutalist, or seventies chic interior. The VEB factory, established after World War II, embodied the excellence of East German ceramics until reunification in 1990.
