I am selling this very beautiful earthenware teapot from the Gien factory, complete with its original lid. It can also be used to serve coffee. Decor: "Renaissance on a midnight blue background" (central cartouche featuring a putto/love, grotesques, scrolls, and ochre ribbons). Marks under the base: Stamped Gien France, handwritten mention "Peint Main" and the painter's monogram. Dimensions: height 16.5 cm, length 23 cm, widest diameter 15 cm, base diameter 10.5 cm. An elegant and functional piece for serving tea or for decoration. In excellent vintage condition. No chips, no cracks, very clean interior.
