Large baroque ceramic pouring coffee pot – Ceramica Le Torri

Sumptuous and large vintage jug (coffee pot or teapot) in Italian artisanal ceramic, signed by the famous Ceramica Le Torri (Made in Italy). A true centrepiece for the table or sideboard, this item showcases a very pronounced baroque and romantic style: A sculptural and dynamic body: Rich twisted relief motifs structure the piece, complemented by baroque floral details moulded on the worked handle, the foot, and the elongated spout. A generous floral decoration: Two magnificent hand-painted bouquets of flowers (including a large purple rose and a bright yellow sunflower) adorn the curved sides of the jug. Precious finishes: Rich borders and highlights of gilding (shiny gold) perfectly accentuate the curves of the lid, neck, spout, and base. A delicate beige/brown patina adds superb depth to the reliefs. The official stamp with the crowned coat of arms of the pottery is clearly visible under the base. A very beautiful Mid-Century collectible piece influenced by Hollywood Regency, ideal for adding a touch of theatrical elegance and Italian charm to your characterful decor. Very good condition. The glaze retains a beautiful shine, and the floral decorations are intact. There is very slight normal wear on the gilding in places, which enhances its authenticity and retro charm (no major chips or cracks).
