Console Table in Golden Wood, Louis XVI style – 2nd part 19th century

Beautiful louis XVI console in gilded wood, all sides, topped with brocatelle jaune marble from jura. The latter is surrounded by a gorge and has projecting angles. It rests on a sculpted and openwork belt, garnished in its center with a large louis XVI bow which seems to hold a large garland of flowers accompanied by dense foliage. This piece of furniture has the particularity of being equipped with side pulls enlarging the surface of the console. The latter rests on feet carved with grooves and projecting patterns. In the upper part, rosettes in cartridges adorn each corner of the console. In the lower part, a sculpted spacer forming an X is accompanied by a large urn topped with a flame. ******** period: 2nd part 19th century excellent condition.
