This vintage Stonehill coffee table in teak and glass from the 1960s showcases the craftsmanship of the British publisher Stonehill Furniture. Directly inspired by Scandinavian modernism, it stands out with its fluid oval shape and sculpted organic cross-legged base. The solid wood frame supports a glass top that adds an airy transparency to the whole, revealing the sculptural structure of the base. Published in Britain during the golden age of mid-century design, this vintage Stonehill coffee table features beautiful natural shades of golden teak. Its four tapered legs connected by a curved stretcher provide great stability without weighing down the visual space. The original manufacturer's stamp is still present under the crossbar, attesting to its authenticity. Its oval silhouette harmoniously fits into a contemporary living room or retro decor. The piece has undergone a complete restoration in our workshop: meticulous stripping and sanding, application of a natural protective oil, glass top in very good condition, and a solid teak structure that is perfectly healthy and reinforced.
