Rare Italian dining table from the 1950s with a sculptural base in walnut and brass, a striking example of post-war Italian craftsmanship. The table stands out for the strong architectural quality of its structure: two A-shaped sculpted legs connected by a floating stretcher with soft inner curves, assembled with beautiful antique patina brass brackets. These details give the table a refined, almost aerodynamic presence, balancing lightness and structural tension. The green glass top is original and features a soft, elegant hue that complements the warmth of the walnut. The edges of the top are slightly curved, following the tapered geometry of the structure. It is a table with undeniably Italian proportions and lines, reflecting the same sensibility found in designers who played with sharp silhouettes and softened angles during this period.
