Openwork green ceramic bowl from Vallauris, 1950s.

Beautiful decorative ceramic bowl with openwork produced in Vallauris, in the south of France, around the 1950s. This piece stands out for its elegant radial decoration composed of intertwined scrolls and small raised floral motifs, arranged around a spiralled centre. The whole is covered in a deep, glossy green glaze, characteristic of post-war Vallauris productions. Its openwork shape gives it a very decorative sculptural presence. It naturally finds its place as a centrepiece on a coffee table or sideboard, either alone or as a light fruit bowl. An emblematic piece of Vallauris' artisanal know-how, ideal for a vintage, Mediterranean, or mid-century interior. Dimensions: Diameter: 24 cm. Height: 8 cm. Condition: Very good vintage condition. Glaze well preserved, with no chips or cracks. Slight signs of age under the base, consistent with its age and use.
