Elegant bamboo console from the 1980s, attributed to designer Dorothy Macguire, emblematic of the revival of organic and natural furniture from this period. This piece stands out for its particularly decorative craftsmanship: a structure made up of carefully assembled vertical bamboo rods, highlighted by a central belt of woven bamboo that accentuates its sculptural silhouette. The top, formed from a multitude of juxtaposed bamboo sections, offers a unique graphic effect reminiscent of a natural honeycomb pattern, adding texture and character to the whole. A glass top was likely present before. Its curved lines and flared base give it a look that is both stable and light, typical of 80s design blending exoticism and modernity. In good condition.
