Large vase / jug bay ceramics - west germany

Superb large ceramic jug from the famous German manufacturer Scheurich Keramik, model 495-46, produced in West Germany in the 1970s. This piece stands out for its elongated and sculptural shape, as well as its geometric brown graphic decoration on a beige background, which is very characteristic of West German design. The interior features a beautiful bright yellow glaze, typical of productions from that period, creating an elegant contrast with the matte exterior. Due to its large size (46 cm) and beautiful handle, this jug can be used both as a vase for large branches and as a sculptural decorative object in a vintage, mid-century, or contemporary interior. Signature under the base: Scheurich Keramik – W. Germany – 495-46. Condition: very good vintage condition, note: a very slight chip on the upper edge (visible in the photo).
