Bronze sculpture signed Roger Bezombes, 1971

Bronze paperweight sculpture, created by Roger Bezombes (1913-1994), in the shape of a star with the inscription on one side: "may this New Year star guide joy towards you" and on the other side: "joy" written several times. The sculpture is signed rb (initials of Roger Bezombes) on one branch and BR (for bronze) on another. The star was published by the Paris Mint in 1971. The bronze is in very good condition, with two patinas, gilded bronze and coppered bronze. Maximum diameter 11.5 cm.
