This armchair, made until 1915, is confirmed to be from 1910; it is a true exercise in "styles". Kohn has gathered fashionable elements from the Vienna Secession on this armchair: A seat pattern created by Kohn, the N°XXI (1902) The so-called saddle-shaped seat. The front legs are those of the Thonet chair N°519 known as "Café Capua", a work by Adolf Loos (1913) Support brackets for the rear legs typical of Joseph Hoffmann's work, with a ball and 3 through screws. Label under the seat, Kohn stamp, Teschen factory. We have kept this seat in its found condition; it is stable, solid, and symmetrical.
