Victorian Howard & Son walnut office chair with stamp.

We are delighted to offer for sale this magnificent original Victorian office chair with a walnut frame by Howard & Son’s Berners Street, fully stamped at the base. This is a rare, original, and highly sought-after chair. The chair is stamped on the back of the seat at the bottom with the serial number 8860 6515. Howard & Son is regarded as the finest chair manufacturer in history, even owned by the Queen in a private collection. The chair has been deeply cleaned, hand-waxed, and polished. It shows normal patina marks due to its age and use. Dimensions: height 100 cm, width 56 cm, depth 55 cm. All measurements are taken at the widest point.
