English set Kirby Beard and Co and Royal Worcester 1911 Art Deco

This beautiful service tray composed of a green ceramic back surrounded by a finely crafted metal frame, equipped with two handles and four legs, has two emblematic names of the english industry: for the metal part, the goldsmith kirby beard and co who produced and sold luxurious objects throughout europe until 1970. And for earthenware, royal worcester which was a very important factory across the channel. The museum's website dedicated to this brand allows you to date each earthenware thanks to the stamp below. This earthenware was made in 1911. The set dates from the same period, especially since I found its trace in a catalog of 1913 of kirby beard and co paris (of which I can send you the image) which specifies that the metal is silver nickel. And who also specifies that the bottom is crystal... Which is surprising since this one is made of ceramic. A special order Has the bottom been replaced by an older ceramic cut to the right dimensions An investigation to be conducted! Another detail, this tray was planned for sale in the parisian store, because we can read, "made in england", in french therefore, next to the stamp. It also has a small punch that is difficult to decipher even with a magnifying glass. The whole is in good general condition, still solid, but it does not hide its more than 110 years: the earthenware is cracked into several pieces, but as it is set in the metal part, it does not move. It also has some chips along the cracks and some stripes and white markings, and numerous spots on the underside. The metal has stains, and is probably no longer the color it was originally in, I guess it must have been much more silvery at the time. It measures 44 cm in length (including handles), 27 cm in width, 5 cm in height of the edge of the tray and 8.5 cm at the level of the handles. The whole weighs relatively heavy, a little more than 2.3 kg.
