This serving tray features a clear opaline glass base set in a moulded brass frame, surrounded by an openwork gallery with finely pierced cross patterns. Two discreetly integrated brass handles on the sides facilitate serving and handling. The openwork brass gallery is one of the emblematic motifs of the productions of the Maison Baguès, a renowned Parisian house of art bronze, a reference for gilded brass; this tray stylistically connects the piece to the refined repertoire of French table arts from the 1960s.
