Very large vintage silver-plated tray with golden handles L47 W36.5 H5

Very large vintage serving tray in silver-plated metal, probably from the second half of the 20th century. Rectangular shape with widely rounded corners, flat base and raised edge. Two large movable side handles in gilded metal, fixed by four decorative attachments. The contrast between the silver-plated metal and the gilded handles is characteristic of a certain production of bar and reception accessories from the 20th century, where two-tone finishes regularly appear on serving pieces. Its large size makes it suitable for serving drinks, as a bar tray or on a coffee table with carafes and glassware. The pronounced patina, scratches, oxidation, and surface variations give the metal an interesting raw appearance, suitable today for a more contemporary or brutalist interior.
