Antique Jugendstil work table — oak and copper fittings, circa 1900

Rare sewing box on a stand in the Jugendstil style, Central Europe, circa 1900–1920. Solid oak stained and adorned with carved motifs (radiant sun, vegetal interlacing). Articulated lid in two parts opening onto a double storage compartment. Original copper fittings: domed head nails, straps, and latches. X-shaped legs with a lower shelf. Functional and complete opening mechanism. Rare piece, no identified designer. Comparable models offered between €500 and €900 on 1stDibs and Pamono. Slight signs of use consistent with the age of the piece.
