Pair of chairs Turpe (Dresden - Germany) n° 14- period 1890/1900. Turpes chairs were introduced from Saxony during the annexation to Alsace-Lorraine between 1871 and 1914, the Alsatians know them well and still use them. Very good condition, perfect six-wire canning. Very beautiful curves well arched; it is the exact copy of the n° 14 of Thonet, the Turpe has nothing to envy to its elder on the technical and aesthetic level! Seat height: 47 cm, total height: 92 cm, seat diameter: 41 cm. Walnut color, under organic shellac. Equipped with the original "side reinforcements" option.
