Boulle style console and gilded bronze, circa 1880

Console in boulle style marquetry and gilded bronze, all faces in counterpart marquetry with copper background and inlay of red tortoiseshell with patterns of rinse, arabesques and fleurons. Tray of chamfered shape, with a frieze in rais-de-coeur, the polylobed apron presenting in its center a sinuous cartouche with a mascaron surrounded by interlacing. Base of curved shape ending at its ends by bronze ornaments, in the upper part by espagnolettes with busts, on the right decorated with an atlantean and on the left of a caryatid, in the lower part by hooves in leafy windings with in their center a shell.
