4 Danish teak ladder back dining chairs by Kai Kristiansen for Korup Stolefabrik 1960s/70s

A set of four ladderback dining chairs in teak, with black leatherette seat pads. Produced by korup stolefabrik, denmark in the 60s/70s, the design is attributed to kai kristiansen (widely illustrated). They are 1m tall with 44cm seat height, 46cm width and 50cm depth. A deceptively simple design is made rather beautiful by a sweeping curve from backrest into the seat support, which sets these apart from regular ladderback chairs. Condition is very good.
