Large showcase library of a notary in solid oak from the late 19th century.

Impressive display library in solid oak with glass doors, standing 2.50 metres tall and featuring a moulded cornice, it immediately catches the eye while maintaining the sobriety typical of French professional furniture from the late 19th century. Probably intended for a notary's study, a lawyer's office, or an administration, it was designed to last for several generations. Inside, two small drawers allow for the consultation of registers and documents. A large lower drawer provides ample additional storage space. The piece is entirely made of solid oak and can be disassembled into two parts, facilitating its installation. We also noted in several places a mysterious marking "G.M.", engraved and then darkened on some elements and reported in ink on others, likely a workshop or manufacturer marking.
