Rare Empire period secretary in mahogany with four columns topped with Corinthian capitals in gilded bronze. The drop front is adorned with a significant bronze depicting a muse. The internal theatre is of exceptional quality and beauty, echoing the façade, with drawers, a mirror feature, secret compartments, and a writing surface in leather. The lower part has two doors with drawers inside (known as English interior). The upper drawer features a frieze and gilded bronze pulls. The marble top rests on feline legs in blackened wood. Luxury and quality define this rare secretary from the early 19th century.
