Old Provençal glazed terracotta jug – 19th century – authentic patina

Beautiful old earthenware jug with a glossy yellow ochre glaze on the upper part and a raw body that is heavily patinated by time. An authentic piece with rustic charm, featuring very nice natural wear and signs of use that give it all its character. Probably originating from the south of France (Provence / Occitanie), late 18th – 19th century. Ideal for chic country decoration, wabi-sabi, or characterful homes. It can also be used as a vase.
