Vintage woven rattan basket - Traditional Asian wickerwork

Large harvest basket, quality Asian wickerwork, produced in the 1980s. Handcrafted from rattan and bamboo, it features a tightly woven and regular pattern of great finesse forming natural beads. Its deep bowl shape is accentuated by two sculpted solid wood handles in a semi-moon shape, secured with elegant flat bindings, giving the whole piece a unique character. A true decorative object, it will find its place on a sideboard, serve as a refined magazine holder, or as a spectacular fruit bowl in a kitchen or living room with bohemian or Scandinavian accents. In very good vintage condition. The structure is perfectly sound and robust.
