Round basket flared in straw

This round, flared basket is made up of a braided straw spiral, perhaps bound by raffia. It is still solid but does not hide its age: broken or "ruffled" strands, spots and spin holes. I treated the spindle by immersion the basket in white vinegar. It measures about 32 cm larger in diameter, 14 cm in diameter at the base, and 13 cm in height. It weighs 360g.
