Pao F, designed by Matteo Thun for Arteluce, Italy, 1990s. An elegant floor lamp emblematic of postmodern Italian design, the Pao F was created by architect and designer Matteo Thun for Arteluce. Its design combines the simplicity of a large white diffuser with soft lines, a wooden stem, and a wide metal base, reflecting the typical aesthetic of Italian design from this period. Original Arteluce piece, bearing its original label under the base: “arteluce – PAO F – MAX 300W R7S – MADE IN ITALY”. Condition. Very good overall condition considering its age. • white diffuser in very good condition, with no visible cracks or chips; • well-preserved wooden stem, with a beautiful patina; • metal base showing some marks and superficial scratches related to use, visible in the photographs; • dimmer/switch present; • functional lamp. The whole is complete and consistent with the original model. Height: approximately 190 cm. A particularly interesting piece for a contemporary interior, an Italian design collection, or a fan of Matteo Thun's work. Personal collection preferred, given the size of the floor lamp and the fragility of the diffuser.
