Rare Stilnovo wall lamp 3030, Italy, 1950s. Adjustable wall sconce by Stilnovo, model 3030, made in Italy in the 1950s. The design features a black lacquered metal shade with perforated details, a double-arm brass structure, and a black lacquered counterweight at the end of the arm. Under the direction of Bruno Gatta, Stilnovo became one of the most refined lighting houses in post-war Italy. Gatta and his Technical Office explored new combinations of lacquered metal and brass, giving their lamps a distinctive elegance that perfectly integrated with the modern interiors of the 1950s. The contrast between the dark lacquer and warm brass added depth and tone, providing architects and clients with materials and colors capable of unifying an entire room with subtle sophistication. In excellent condition and in working order. Please note that the black pole to which the lamp is attached is not part of the lamp; it is exhibition material. And please contact us for sizes. For your information: the shade itself has a diameter of 39 cm and the mounting plate is 29 cm. The length from the wall/mounting to the heart/center of the shade is approximately 120 cm if you leave it hanging as in the photos but perpendicular to the wall. Dimensions. Width: 139 cm. Height: 60 cm.
