Teak sideboard by Nils Jonsson for PS Heggen, Scandinavian modern, 1960s

This is not so common model of sideboard by nils jonsson in teakwood with black sliding door, two sculpted handles, elegant base completed with subtle slender legs, all 4 legs are finished with brass – a great example of scandinavian modern style in its best. The piece was produced by PS Heggen trevarefabrik. Easily sliding doors reveal two sections with shelves on both sides and a section with five drawers in the middle. A truly outstanding piece that can be used virtually anywhere: in a dining room as a sideboard or buffet, in a bedroom as a dresser, in living areas as a bar or media console. This piece was completely renovated and is in very good condition however as a vintage piece it still has some traces of use and time.
