George Nelson coffee table – Herman Miller, white.

Round coffee table from the Pedestal series by George Nelson, designed in 1954. The circular white top, with its edge revealing the layers of wood, rests on a central white base with four flared legs. The design plays on the contrast between the delicacy of the top and the sculptural form of the base. The Pedestal series is part of American post-war furniture from the 1950s and was produced by Herman Miller. This piece retains its original orange label "Herman Miller Collection – Designer George Nelson." Very good original condition.
