We are delighted to offer for sale this super rare and highly collectible suite of four original Chinese export stacking campaign chests dating from around 1880, complete with original locks and keys. These original export pieces were used in the field, featuring a beautiful patina, designed to be used individually or stacked as shown. The base is not original but has been made for display purposes. The condition is consistent with the period and field use, with marks and signs of wear that add to the charm of the set.
