Caned armchair in Louis XVI style

This Louis XVI style armchair combines a caned seat with a sculpted wooden structure, featuring fluted legs, small rosettes, and a bead frieze under the seat. The wood retains traces of old paint, in shades of cream and gray-green. Found with its back un-caned, we have kept it this way: this opening lightens its silhouette and highlights the curves of its frame. A slightly less conventional look that we quite like. To be placed near a desk, in a bedroom, or as an extra seat in the living room. The wood shows signs of use and an irregular patina, visible in the photos.
