Teak cabinet by Kai Kristiansen for Aksel Kjersgaard, 1960s

This small cabinet designed by Kai Kristiansen and manufactured by Aksel Kjersgaard in Denmark in the 1960s. This model 34 is very rare and a great example of the top quality Aksel Kjersgaard produced for Kai Kristiansen. The legs continuing up the side of the body of the chest being a unique detail. This cabinet is made of teak and would be perfect due it's compact size as a hallway cabinet or as a side cabinet under a mirror. Wear consistent with age and use. The cabinet is in good condition showing a nice patina, consistent with it's age and use.
