Vintage pink and green glass vide-poche/ashtray, organic shape, Murano.

Magnificent vintage glass catchall in thick glass with shades of amethyst pink and emerald green. Its free and organic shape, with generously undulating contours, evokes a flower sculpted in glass. The overlays of colours and the curves of the material create stunning plays of light. A decorative piece in its own right, characteristic of the aesthetic of glass design from the second half of the 20th century. Can be used as a catchall, jewellery dish, or simply as a sculptural object on a coffee table, console, or shelf. Tinted solid glass, crafted in the spirit of Italian Murano glassworks. Glassmaker and designer unidentified. Very good vintage condition as seen in the photographs. A piece with a strong character, particularly decorative in a modernist or contemporary interior.
