Belgian custom made column floor lamp in fiberglass resin, 1980s-1990s

Tall cylindrical floor lamp made in Belgium in the 1980s-1990s. The shell is hand-laminated fibreglass-reinforced resin in amber and brown tones with a textured, scratched surface. Lit, the wall glows a warm orange and the fibre structure of the laminate shows through. It stands on a round wooden base and has an inline switch on the cable. These lamps were custom made for a former restaurant. It is fitted with two E27 sockets, one in the upper part of the column and one in the lower part, so the light is evenly spread along the height. Originally the column was wrapped in rattan. This has been removed for aesthetic reasons, which leaves the resin surface fully visible. We have two of these lamps. This is the larger version at 194 cm. The smaller one is 144 cm. Both are listed separately. Height: 194 cm. Diameter: 30 cm. Fibreglass-reinforced resin, wooden base. 3 X E27. The lamp is in working order and has an inline switch. Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. The finish has small losses and chips, mainly near the top rim. There are small air bubbles and surface irregularities from the hand-made construction, and small round holes near the top edge. These are part of the character of the piece. Please see the photos.
