With their long seats carved from thick pieces of wood and their angled legs directly assembled into the top, they possess that rustic and stripped-back aesthetic that is highly sought after in brutalist, wabi-sabi, and chic country interiors. 🌳 Each bench is made from a long piece of solid wood, deliberately kept in an irregular shape. The edges still follow the natural movements of the wood, giving each one a slightly different silhouette. 🪚 The surfaces bear numerous signs of shaping and use: tool marks, small cavities, knots, irregularities, and old marks remain visible. The whole has a true presence, very far from an industrially made rustic piece of furniture. ✨ The wood features a beautiful honey to light brown patina, with lovely variations in shade and particularly lively grain. The light beautifully highlights the reliefs and irregularities of the two seats. 🪵 The thick ends perfectly reveal the section of the wood and its growth rings.
