Hustadt Leuchten brutalist table or floor lamp

Special vintage table or floor lamp by the German brand Hustadt Leuchten, from the 1970s. A sculptural design with a pronounced brutalist character, where solid wood and decorative glass come together in a unique way. The lamp consists of a vertical, solid wooden column with a dark finish and a clearly visible wood grain. On the front, three large glass globes are placed one above the other, each set in a round wooden recess. The glass has a special, irregular structure with numerous air inclusions that break and diffuse the light atmospherically. When the lamp is on, a warm glow is created that contrasts beautifully with the dark wood. Due to the powerful geometric design and the use of natural materials, the lamp is characteristic of the brutalist design movement of the 1970s. With its height of 75 cm, the lamp can be placed as a generous table lamp on a sideboard or low cabinet, or on the floor as a decorative light sculpture. The lamp is in very good vintage condition, with only minor signs of use appropriate to its age. Dimensions are as follows: height 75 cm, diameter 13 cm. Carefully selected vintage design. Professionally restored where necessary, with respect for the original design, craftsmanship, and materials used.
