Mid century modern sideboard credenza brazilian rosewood veneer

Very large vintage sideboard from the 1970s, minimalist design, and monumental proportions. The sideboard is made of wood veneered in black formica and rio rosewood. Visually most impressive are the five minimalist front doors made of rio rosewood veneer with a satin finish. The five doors are the only features of the long sideboard resting on a smaller and less visible matte black, cubic base. The colors and shades of the rosewood front are warm and saturated. The final touch is a dark, almost continuous line of the natural grain of the wood stretched from one end to the other end of the sideboard. It looks as if it was painted by an artist who intended to compliment and oppose at the same time the sharp and strict minimalist geometrical structure of the sideboard with an airy, organically abstract graphic detail. The interior of the sideboard features 4 solid wood drawers and 2 shelves. The sideboard can be disassembled for safer transport and for easier carrying up to a higher floor. The sideboard is in good original condition. There are no traces of repairs. It is fully functional as intended and doesn't have any structural or visual defects that need mentioning. Some small traces of cosmetic wear can be found but they are hardly noticeable. The black formica top has very thin, small, and superficial scratches noticeable only when looked at from a certain angle.
